Xiaomi Mi Smart Electric Toothbrush T500 comes in a white cardboard box. Appearance
Outwardly, the toothbrush can hardly be called small, since its dimensions are really large. According to the manufacturers, this brush is intended for adults, and this is not surprising. In addition to its dimensions, the brush is still weighty. But this is all really not scary.
On the back of the body there is a ribbed surface, thanks to which the brush becomes more comfortable to hold and it starts to slip less. The brush uses only one button (made of rubberized material), which is located on the front side of the case in the center. Indicators of the brush operation are located under the same button. And under the mode indicators there is a battery indicator.
A colored ring (blue) is installed on the bottom of the case. Thus, you can change rings if you suddenly have two identical brushes. This was done in order to make it easier to distinguish between them.
The docking station is made in a very beautiful style, like the toothbrush itself. The coating on the bottom of the dock is rubberized. If it is a wireless charger and in order to charge the brush, you just need to place it on the base. The docking station has a USB connector, so it can be charged using almost any adapter, or from a computer.
The brush body is made according to the IPX7 standard, which means that it has excellent moisture protection and you should not worry about the fact that it may accidentally fall into the bathtub and so on. I have not tried to submerge it under water. The gap between the brush handle and the nozzle is made to protect against impacts of the nozzle on the brush. The motor inside the brush supports up to 31,000 vibrations per minute.

In the same section, just below the application prompts, in order to prevent the formation of tartar, it is recommended to extend the cleaning time in the blue areas (there will be a picture there). Below is a recommendation where you need to reduce the cleaning pressure to prevent damage to teeth and gums.
In the application, you can configure:
- Prevent splashing 10 seconds (cool feature);
- Change the duration of cleaning, instead of two minutes, set 2.5;
- Teeth brushing mode (I have a beginner’s mode);
- There are additional functions where you can choose: super whitening for 30 seconds, gum care for 30 seconds and tongue cleaning for 10 seconds;
Honestly, that I do not use the application, since the synchronization takes a long time and this must be done after each cleaning. And it’s not surprising that after several such iterations it starts to infuriate, so I gave up doing it a long time ago.
For everyone who is just starting to brush their teeth with this brush, I advise you to use only the soft mode for now, since the standard mode, as for me a beginner, seems too hard. I think that first the teeth and gums of a person should get used to such cleaning.
The minimum cleaning time is 2 minutes. The brush itself divides the time into 4 equal intervals of 30 seconds and pauses automatically so that you can change the brushing area. This toothbrush has a very cool mode that prevents splashing, that is, it does not vibrate for the first two seconds, so that you can have time to bring it to your mouth.
Output
Summing up, I want to say that I was still satisfied with the brush. The main parameter for me is cleaning, and she copes with her task very well. I see no need for an application. If you want to keep any report on the teeth, then I would not recommend this brush. I don’t know, maybe I’m having some problems with her. I also did not like its dimensions, yet I would like to see this brush a little smaller, but there is (again) nothing to worry about.
