Having a convenient and functional remote control can greatly facilitate and speed up navigation in various interfaces. It is about one of these devices with an air mouse function that will be discussed in this review. I will reveal all the functionality of the remote control, as well as talk about my experience of use.

I note right away that you can purchase three different models from the presented sellers, which differ in the presence of a backlight and a gyroscope. I purchased a model with all possible functions, and this will be discussed in the review.
So, the remote control comes in an ordinary Chinese package, pre-packed in a cardboard box with a brief technical specification on it.
The remote control itself is also packed in a plastic bag, and inside the box there is an instruction in English, which indicates the functions of the remote control buttons, as well as other information. I will post below a more illustrative picture, which is an excerpt from the instructions.

The device comes without batteries, and the battery compartment contains a dongle that allows you to wirelessly connect the remote control to a TV or other devices. The dongle also came pre-packed in a plastic bag, but I am writing a review after a month of using the device and did not take a photo in advance.
The dongle is small and plugs into any USB port of the device we need.
In general, the first impressions of the remote control are very good, the device is ergonomic and fits well in the hand, the remote is compact and almost all the buttons are within the reach of the thumb. It is also worth noting the rubberized buttons, which are engraved.
The remote has a relatively light weight, which is 46 grams without batteries and 60 grams with batteries. Please note that the weight of the battery may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer.
The operation of the remote control was tested on such devices as: laptop, TCL 55ep640 TV based on Android TV 9.0, as well as on the TV-box Ugoos AM-6, with which the remote control works on an ongoing basis. On all devices, the remote control showed full performance.
To use the remote control at night or in low light conditions, it has engraved buttons, as well as an unobtrusive white backlight, which is turned on by briefly pressing the button with the lamp icon. The backlight can be turned off by pressing it again or it turns off automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity.
At the top of the remote control there is an LED indicator that, when you press any of the buttons, lights up in red, and when the backlight is turned on, it signals in white. The latter indication is quite important, because in daylight conditions the backlight is not visible, and the indicator is visible under almost any conditions, thus you can save battery power if the backlight is accidentally turned on.
Also one of the good features of this remote is the programmable infrared button. To program, you need to hold down the power button and wait for the indicator light to flicker, then you need to bring the required remote control from a third-party device and press the desired button, while the LED indicator turns white and stops flashing, and the remote control memorizes the infrared code of the required button. Thus, you can simultaneously turn on and off two devices at once, for example, a set-top box and a TV.
It is also worth saying that voice search works perfectly and recognizes English speech without much effort, the voice assistant can be configured based on your preferences. During voice search, the microphone button does not need to be held down, activating this function requires a single press. The microphone is located at the top of the remote and has two holes, but the device has a good microphone that accurately picks up your speech at a distance of about 50 centimeters, without the need to raise your voice.
There is a special button with an arrow to turn on and off the air mouse function. I also very often use the “back” and “home” functions, they are combined on one button, “back” is triggered by a short press, and the “home” function is triggered accordingly by a long press. This is a fairly convenient solution that does not clutter up the remote with unnecessary buttons.
Summing up, I would like to say that for a low price you get a convenient ergonomic remote control with a wide range of functions. The remote is equipped with a high-quality microphone, an air mouse function, and LED backlighting, which will help in the dark. Of the minuses, I can note the presence of the “del” button, which I have never used during the entire operation of the remote control, except for checking for writing a review. I also rarely used the “page up, page down” buttons, since it is more convenient to use the rewind function using the air mouse function.
