View PowerBank Ugreen 65W 20,000 mAh
PowerBanks appeared relatively recently and quickly gained popularity among users, which is not surprising. Modern mobile devices are quite power hungry, and often the battery only lasts until lunchtime, and the outlet is not always at hand. And this is not to mention the situation when the user is far outside the city, for example, in a forest or in the mountains, and the nearest power sources can be located ten kilometers away. It is PowerBank that can help you charge your smartphone at the right time. Today’s review is dedicated to a device from a well-known Chinese manufacturer Ugreen, we will talk about PowerBank Ugreen 20,000 mAh

Packaging and delivery set
PowerBank is delivered in a rather modest white cardboard box, which contains a schematic representation of the device, the name of the manufacturer, model, as well as brief information about the technical characteristics.
Everything inside the box is packed using cardboard seals, while the device does not dangle during transportation. The delivery set is rather modest. It included:
- PowerBank Ugreen 20,000;
- USB-C cable;
- Brief instruction manual;
- Thank you card for your purchase.
Even a modest package allows you to start using the device immediately after purchase, provided you have a charger. Although, in my case, the device was charged at 50%
Appearance
Ugreen 20,000mAh has a classic design. The body of the device is made of dark gray, matte plastic, with glossy inserts at the ends.
On the top surface there is a company logo and four LED indicators, symbolizing the device’s charge level.
The back surface is completely empty, while the contour of the mounting plate is clearly visible on the case, which is apparently glued.
On one of the side ends there is a mechanical power button.
The opposite end is absolutely clean.
At the next end there are two USB-A connectors for connecting charged devices and a USB-C connector, which is also intended for connecting a charger.
On the opposite side there is information about the device, the total capacity of the batteries, as well as information about the requirements for the power adapter and the operating modes of the device.
Testing
First of all, you need to make sure that the stated technical characteristics are correct, in particular, that the battery capacity is 20,000 mAh.
To do this, connect the fully discharged PowerBank via a USB tester to the charger until the end of the charging cycle. The device is charged through the Type-C connector (5V / 3A, 9V / 2A).
The device was able to take in 19122 mAh battery.
Then an electronic load was connected to the device and the batteries were discharged in the 9V / 1.5A mode. The device was able to deliver 13385 mAh, which is average.
As you can see, the battery capacity is close to the declared one.
USB-1 5V / 3A, 9V / 2A
USB-2 5V / 3A, 9V / 2A
Type-C 5V / 3A, 9V / 2A, 12V / 1.5A
PowerBank delivers excellent charge to mobile devices, both in fast charging mode and in normal modes.
At the same time, it is very important to understand that the total power of the device is only 18W, which means that it is capable of charging only one device in fast charging mode. When two or three devices are connected, the charging power will be distributed between them.
Conclusion
Summing up this small review, I would like to say, in general, the Ugreen 65W 20,000 mAh is a very good PowerBank with fairly honest technical characteristics. Undoubtedly, the presence of the function of fast charging of both charged devices and the device itself pleases, the presence of fast USB PD charging pleases. Somewhat upsetting is the fact that when charging two or three devices, the gadget will distribute 5 V to each, i.e. ports are dependent on each other. At the same time, the cost of the device is in the price range of $60, which allows you to close your eyes to some of the features of the technical characteristics. If you need to quickly charge several devices at the same time, of course, the considered sample for these purposes will not be the best option, but if you plan to charge one device, or the charging speed is not important to you.
That’s all, happy shopping!
