Liectroux B6009 Review - Modern Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Modern Robot Vacuum Cleaner Liectroux B6009 Review: on guard of cleanliness 2022.

Robot vacuum cleaners have become part of our life. While we are at work, these assistants diligently clean our house, crawling over a given area: they remove small debris, dust, brush with side brushes under cabinets and near the baseboard, and perform wet cleaning. So I was on fire to take myself a similar pet. The main selection criteria are: high suction power, two brushes, and a mapping function. Naturally, it should be controlled from the application via Wi-Fi, with cleaning planning. Wet cleaning was interesting, but I could not advance to assess whether it was necessary, as it is quite a rare feature available only in top models. There are not so many similar vacuum cleaners and prices bite. As a result, the choice fell on a fairly new model with a German name — the LIECTROUX B6009 robot vacuum cleaner, which not only meets all the criteria, but it also has a control panel and a virtual wall in the kit (and you need to buy it separately from Xiaomi and not cheap). And the price is more than pleasant ~ $200 for a modern model.

Below I give a link to my model of the LIECTROUX B6009 robot vacuum cleaner, available at a discount in the LIECTROUX Robot Store.

But if you want to compare and evaluate whether this is really the cheapest and most functional robot vacuum cleaner, then you can familiarize yourself with the options at the link below.

So, the LIECTROUX B6009 robot vacuum cleaner is one of the most functional models among classmates (vacuum cleaners in the price range of $ 220- $ 300). Rare budget models can boast of mapping, and even more so the presence of a wet cleaning function.

Compared to simple budget vacuum cleaners, this robot is a real “smart” one, equipped with various types of sensors, which scans the room and creates a map, marking cleaning places and obstacles. The robot does not repeat its route — cleaning efficiency up to 98%. The robot has a voice assistant, with voice acting when turning on and switching programs. Unlike cheap vacuum cleaners, this model is Wi-Fi controlled. A nice option is a “sloth” included, that is, a remote control from which you can control the device without taking out your smartphone. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a large-capacity garbage tank (1L), a water tank. The filter system keeps dust out. When filling, a signal for cleaning is given. Filters and container are washed — no problem here. A spare HEPA filter is included. The vacuum cleaner works automatically, according to a schedule, and can also be activated manually from the remote control or through the application. Upon completion, the robot returns to the base on its own, and you can evaluate the quality of cleaning on the room map. The built-in gyroscope helps you orient yourself in space, and also determines if the vacuum cleaner has been manually moved. The set includes a virtual wall — a huge pole, since you have to buy it separately for other models. The robot is guided by sensors taking into account the location of physical and virtual obstacles, prudently changing the route. Vacuum cleaners are available in a warehouse in London and are delivered from after ordering in 2–3 days (by courier to the door).

Everything is arranged according to the mind, the kit contains everything you need.

Everything that is required to start the vacuum cleaner “out of the box”, as well as spare brushes / filters, there is also an instruction in English.

A detailed description of the composition of the vacuum cleaner kit.

A few words about the complete set.

The set includes spare: 2 side brushes, a cloth for wet cleaning and a HEPA filterPower supply 24V / 1A, with Euro plug and standard DC jackVirtual wall from the kit. There are three modes of operation — straight line, side line, angle.Remote control vacuum cleaner. Duplicates application functions — convenient

Charging base — placed according to the instructions at a certain distance from the walls of the roomInside there is a special tool for cleaning the vacuum cleaner and brushesBattery powered (2xAA)Battery powered (2xAAA)

A few words about the appearance of the vacuum cleaner — this is a classic “pancake”, that is, a round flat robot with two brushes on the sides. The brushes, by the way, are elongated, this is the fattest plus taking into account cleaning under furniture and near the baseboard. The wide bumper gives the appearance some massiveness.

On the top cover there is a large display-button block that displays hours, programs (you can program timer cleaning). From the button on the panel, you can start cleaning, or send the robot to the base.

Description of the display. and keypad.

The first button (suction power / Wi-Fi) is used to activate the access point for communication with the smartphone. According to the instructions, you need to hold down for 3 seconds after turning on.

The base and orientation sensor is located on the nose of the vacuum cleaner — an optical omnidirectional system that allows you to receive base pulses.

The cover plate for cleaning the floor clings to the rear bottom of the vacuum cleaner. Note the hidden power switch and vacuum cleaner charging socket. You can charge directly — a big plus, Xiaomi does not have this.

The air outlets are located at the rear of the vacuum cleaner.

The bumper is translucent — a chain of non-contact optical (IR) sensors is hidden under it. There is also a contact sensor; upon impact or upon collision with a dynamic obstacle, it is triggered, and the vacuum cleaner changes the movement program.

The cleaning working mechanism is clearly visible from below. By the way, if you turn the vacuum cleaner over during operation, the built-in gyroscope will detect the inoperative position and turn off the vacuum cleaner. Once you place it on a flat surface, you can continue cleaning.
The front swivel wheel is clearly visible, and the two large contacts for the charging base are located on the sides of the swivel wheel. The two long brushes are positioned to sweep (rake) all debris onto the turbo brush, which is located in the center.

The turbo brush has both silicone working elements and bristles, and is equally good at handling small and large debris, dust and wool / hair.

Next is a small brush with a short bristle, and then there is a removable module for wet cleaning: a container for water and a velcro cloth.

Can be removed for cleaning — the mounting frame has two locks. After that, calmly wash, clean, etc. Side brushes are included (spare, 2 pcs.). You can replace it yourself without any problems.

But under the top cover is a removable container for collecting garbage and dust. This vacuum cleaner holds the record for the volume of the waste container — 1000 ml. Usually this parameter remains at the level of 300–400 ml, which leads to daily (if not 2–3 times a day) cleaning. That is, you are constantly looking after the robot. A liter container allows you to leave it to clean for a couple of days quietly — it all depends on the degree of cleanliness of the house. Maybe enough for a week.

Removing the container is quite simple. There is a seal at the entrance. Do not insert the other side — special sleds are provided there.

The waste container is a small acrylic container with a filter at the outlet. A handle is provided for easy removal.

The lid can be folded back completely. A seal is provided around the perimeter. The filter itself is a combination of a 3D debris filter (L-shaped mesh) and a HEPA filter that traps fine particles. All this is reusable, washable and dry without problems.

There is a model number plate on the bottom of the case.

A small comparison with the Xiaomi Xiaowa E20 1600Pa smart robot vacuum cleaner . Xiaowa is one of the most popular models, followed by Roborock in terms of prevalence. The latter are quite expensive, but equipped with a laser scanner. But Xiaowa is quite close in characteristics to the reviewed model B6009.

The price of these two models is also similar (the B6009 is somewhat cheaper), but the technical parameters of the B6009 are much more interesting. For example, two brushes against one short or a suction power level of 3000 Pa versus 1600 Pa. And so on.

Xiaowa, like the B6009, has an optical receiver “bump” for orientation along the base, but the dimensions of the B6009 turned out to be slightly higher. Partly because of the volume and power.

Similar to B6009, Xiaowa has a bumper with a mechanical sensor, but with non-contact IR sensors, obstacles are much better in B6009. The vacuum cleaner reacts to objects in advance and does not allow touching, changing the route. Xiaowa, on the other hand, slows down, but touches before the sensor is triggered.

The photo clearly shows the superiority of the B6009 over Xiaowa: the latter has a dust collector of only 600 ml in volume versus 1000 ml in the B6009.

Brushes! The B6009 has two long-bristled side brushes. And the Xiaowa vacuum cleaner has only one, and the villi are short. This affects the quality of cleaning under furniture (for example, under cupboards), as well as along skirting boards. The rest of the design is similar — a swivel wheel, charging contacts, a central brush.

The suspension travel in both cases is about 40 mm — enough for small sills and carpets. Vacuum cleaners “jump” without any problems.

And similar in Xiaowa

We connect the base.

We charge the vacuum cleaner, prepare for work.

Small vacuum cleaner test.

We turn on, check the connection with the phone, the operation of the remote control, etc.

For clarity, I prepared an infernal mixture of flour, semolina, buckwheat and other cereals that annoy the kitchen. And in terms of particle size, such debris is often found in rooms.

We start the vacuum cleaner in automatic mode.

The vacuum cleaner coped with one pass through the program. When I calmed down and returned to base, I checked the container. Catch in place)

We extract the container.

We supplement all this with wet cleaning in the MOP mode.

We install the module with a cloth, having previously filled with water

The drip system constantly moistens the cloth, there is a float water level sensor in the tank.

A few words about Tuya Smart application

Simple app available for Android / iOSDownload from the link above, install, try to add a vacuum cleaner. To do this, look in the menu Small household appliances — vacuum cleanersTurn on the vacuum cleaner with the button and press the first button (WiFi) for 3 seconds.

After activating the vacuum cleaner, it is added to the applicationAt the end, the corresponding inscription is displayed. By default, a name is given to the vacuum cleaner. This is what the vacuum cleaner looks like in the application menuThe application has a number of settings for the vacuum cleaner.

The vacuum cleaner remembers the cleaned places and navigates in space with the construction of a map (2D)There are a number of settings, including suction level, manual mode, timer and scenarios. You can add your own arbitrary timer, select the mode for cleaning (wet / auto). And you can set several such timers, counting on the time when no one will interfere with the vacuum cleaner at home.

Timers and scenarios are flexible, you can set specific days for cleaning. You can manually bring the vacuum cleaner to the desired point and get away “on the spot”.The suction power level can be changed on the fly.Overall, a decent enough app to work with.

After cleaning, when the task is completed, a corresponding notification pops up.

In any case, this is one of the best robotic vacuum cleaners in the range of $ 200–250 dollars, which has Wi-Fi and an application, and also knows how to build maps and remember the area cleaned.

In the official LIECTROUX Robot Store, you can find new products and choose consumables. At the time of publication, discount coupons were in effect, the current price of $ 227 is the best budget option.

That’s all, happy shopping!
