A small review of the new stylish and smart watch Amazfit GTR from Xiaomi. This is a strict and functional watch with an interesting design and quality materials. Steel/aluminum/titanium is used for the case, and leather and silicone are used as a strap.

The first impression was more than positive.

It comes with a magnetic mount for USB charging. Strap leather + silicone. Comfortable, branded with “Amazfit” embossing. On the back of the case there are not only contacts for recharging, but also a pulse sensor. The strap can be changed.

The hull looks very good. Chromed steel, no plastic.
The watch has two buttons on the same side.
Top – food, menu. The bottom one is the context menu.
We turn on the clock.
When turned on, it shows the QR code of the application, then the QR code to connect the watch.
Application – Amazfit from the market. We pair watches and phones.
Immediately offer to update the firmware.
The application itself is normal, the same as that of Amazfit Bip.

By the way, the hieroglyphs in the menu are clearly visible in the last photo.
An important point is the difference between the Chinese version and the international version. I have the Chinese version. Unfortunately, the language change has not yet been completed. Apart from Chinese, there is no choice of languages at all. There are no differences in functionality, notifications are displayed both with Latin characters and with Cyrillic.
All menus are in Chinese. I recommend looking towards the international version. It implements the choice and change of system languages.

I weighed all the pros and cons for a long time, since I prefer strict stylish watches more than sports ones.

Liked the watch. Strict design allows to use together with suits and shirts. It looks very stylish, at the level of the top Galaxy Watch.
As for the material of manufacture, I would take a steel case, since aluminum, although it looks a little better, has less scratch resistance. In any case, Xiaomi / Huami watches turned out to be valid.
