Easine (iLife) F100: Wet & Dry Upright Vacuum Cleaner

About a year ago, I became an active user of the G80 upright vacuum cleaner from this company, but only for dry cleaning. Such a vacuum cleaner has become a godsend for me in the country, when a lot of sand and other debris is applied to the house in a day, which seems to be not immediately noticeable, but when you go through the vacuum cleaner, you always pick up a whole bunch of all sorts of garbage. Recently, a new model F100 has been released with wet cleaning. I don’t really st washing vacuum cleaners, whether it’s a robot or a vertical one, but based on rave reviews on the Internet, I decided to check what the new product is like, whether progress has moved, so to speak.

The box is a decent size and weight, yet the vacuum cleaner weighs 4.1 kg, which is about 2 times more than the weight of a dry vacuum cleaner.

Contents of delivery

The delivery set is not very rich in terms of spare consumables. Vacuum cleaner, tray (aka floor holder of the vacuum cleaner), removable handle, sh for cleaning the container, charger, insctions and warranty card. There is also a fine sh for cleaning the HEPA filter.

More about the kit. Handle with wires inside. There are 2 buttons. The first is responsible for turning on and has an indicator, the second switches the power of work (ECO and MAX) modes.

The handle also has a water supply trigger on the back. It is located exactly under the finger. To supply water, you need to hold the trigger. The roller gets wet and performs wet cleaning, before heavily soiled places it is better to add water abundantly by pressing this button.

Detailed insctions in English and warranty card. In EU-US there is an official representative office of the company and therefore there is an official guarantee for the vacuum cleaner. Consumables can be purchased separately in the official store on the same Aliexpress.

Charger unit – 27V 0.8A. The vacuum cleaner has a useful self-cleaning function, but it only works when the vacuum cleaner is on the base and the base is connected to the network, which, in my opinion, is not very convenient (You need to constantly keep the vacuum cleaner on the network, well, or connect it for self-cleaning. Most likely done in order to save money batteries, since self-cleaning would eat up a decent part of the battery).

Power supply 27V

Charging station, it also serves to store the vacuum cleaner in an upright position and for self-cleaning. After self-cleaning, it is recommended to dry the roller in a special round section of the station. There is also a second rectangular compartment for storing the filter and shes.

The sh has 2 nozzles for water supply. Without pressing the button on the handle, water is not supplied and the vacuum cleaner does dry cleaning. The vacuum cleaner can be used to collect spilled liquid – it will fall into the dirty water container. There are also 2 contacts in the dirty water container that monitor its level and turn off the vacuum cleaner when it overflows.

Clean water container. Volume 600ml. Used to moisten the roller while pressing the button on the handle and during self-cleaning. There is a tight cover. At the junction of the container and the body of the vacuum cleaner there is abber seal for tightness.

Disassembled waste water container. Bottom trash bin. There is a HEPA filter on top, which is washable by the way. It is covered with a mesh to protect against hair and wool. Inside the container, 2 contacts are lowered, which monitor the degree of fullness.

    Control Panel

The screen of the vacuum cleaner. The screen is turned to the front when it is charging. During operation, the screen is turned upside down to us, but during cleaning, few people look at it. The battery charge is displayed with multi-colored contour illumination and stands out very well. On the screen there are power indicators (ECO, MAX), cleaning time, risk level, container full indicator and water availability indicator.

Maximum power mode (30 minutes of operation) ECO mode (allows you to clean about 200 square meters – about 45 minutes of work)

We collect water and prepare for cleaning. I usually do a quick vacuum once every couple of days and clean the floor once a week thoroughly (sometimes less often). The water container is sealed, even if shaken, not a drop will fall. But when it is placed in a vacuum cleaner and the bottom supply hole opens, water can spill a little (all this is not critical and we are talking about a couple of drops on the case). I usually add a detergent for the laminate.

    Ease of use

Although the vacuum cleaner has a decent weight, it is only felt when you put it on or take it off the base. On the floor, he rides on wheels and the weight is not felt, although it makes itself felt during active maneuvering (under the table, for example). All the same, the G80 vacuum cleaner (dry cleaning only) seems super light after the F100. From the interesting: it may seem strange right away that you need to hold the water supply button, but then you realize that it’s still easier, less excess water on the floor.

The vacuum cleaner does not feel so heavy when it is on the floor: the wheels do their job

    Room cleaning

Wet cleaning is done by pressing the water supply button and moving the vacuum cleaner around the room. At the same time, there is not much water left, provided that you do not hold the button for a long time, keeping the vacuum cleaner in one place. Where the light hits, you can see that small drops remain, which dry out very quickly.

Dirt and debris in the form of ketchup, milk and dill disappear as quickly as they were applied. I will not wait until the ketchup dries, for this they beat me on the hands … or I beat. Seriously, not a single vacuum cleaner can clean a dried stain at a time: you have to take a rag, wet it andb the floor with your hands.

    We translate products

After cleaning, we check the condition of the components. We’ll clean up a bit later. Red spots on the roller hint at ketchup. Dill, oddly enough, I did not see on the sh.

The garbage container is a white slurry with pile, dill, hair and other good. Immediately everything goes into the toilet, and the flask undernning water and becomes like new.

The HEPA filter mesh collects dust, hair and fur. The HEPA filter suffers from wool and mechanical debris, so a mesh is needed here. HEPA itself is washable, but you have to wash it no more than once every 3-4 months (if there are no cats, dogs).

    Self-cleaning vacuum cleaner

I liked this feature the most. It greatly simplifies life and allows you to disassemble the vacuum cleaner for cleaning less often. Its meaning is in the rapid rotation of the sh on the pallet and the abundant supply of water. The mode works only when the station is connected to the network (it makes sense, since I would not want to waste the vacuum cleaner’s charge on self-cleaning). The roller is immediately clean, but I would not say that everything is 100% clean. You can still find debris in the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner and in the corners of the sh, so you can definitely wash everything better with your hands under the stream.

    Voice notification

EASINE F100 has a built-in voice assistant. It informs about the need to charge, the completion of charging, the filling of tanks, the occurrence of errors, etc. The notification language is only English and to be honest, I generally do not see any benefit from this next “Alice” or whatever it is. All indicators are on the screen and they are much more convenient than a vacuum cleaner that speaks to a non-ours. Maybe someone will find the function useful, but I turned it off. To do this, there is a button on the back of the vacuum cleaner.

    Conclusion

The model is interesting, there is a self-cleaning function that allows you to clean the vacuum cleaner once a week, and not after every cleaning. There is a voice notification, but, as for me, without the English language, this is not a very useful function. 30 minutes of cleaning in the maximum mode is more than enough for a one-story house of 100 squares. In general, the model is interesting, but without a strong wow effect. For myself, I decided to wait with a washing vacuum cleaner for now and continue to use the G80 model for dry cleaning and the regular Xiaomi mop for wet cleaning once a week. For an area up to 50 squares, I would not recommend considering such models, although everyone has different capabilities and tasks.
