The mapping is carried out using a laser rangefinder. On the map, you can mark target and restricted areas, mark the boundaries of rooms and plan for each of them its own cleaning schedule.

The cost of this robot is constantly jumping, I do not advise buying for 380$, it is too expensive, but Black Friday will correct the situation and the cost will be 350$. The suction force in turbo mode does not exceed 1100 Pa, the volume of the tanks (dust collector — 450 ml, tank — 300 ml), and a gyroscope is used for orientation on the ground, not a lidar.
